Daily Mantra

(ప్రస్తుతం) మనకు కావలసినది 'శ్రద్ధ  '.  దురదృష్టవశాత్తు, అది ( శ్రద్ధ ) భారతదేశం నుంచీ దాదాపు అదృశ్యమైంది.  అందుకే మనము ఈ ప్రస్తుతస్థితిలో ఉన్నాము. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. What we want is this Shraddha .  Unfortunately, it has nearly vanished from India, and this is why we are in our present state.    ― Swami Vivekananda.

మనసు మరియు బుద్ధి ఉన్నతస్థితిని చేరిన క్షణాన మనము మనలోని సత్యస్వరూపుడైన భగవంతుని ప్రత్యక్షంగా చూడవచ్చు. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. The moment the mind and intellect are transcended, we are face to face with Truth or the Self in us.          ― Swami Chinmayananda.

మరణము నిశ్చయమైనది కావున ఒక మంచి కార్యం చేస్తూ మరణించటం మేలు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. When death is so certain, it is better to die for a good cause    ― Swami Vivekananda.

శ్రద్ధగా చదువు.  నిలకడగా ఉండు. నీ లక్ష్యాలను ఉన్నతంగా ఉంచుకొని భావోద్వేగమును విడిచి  కష్టపడి పనిచేయి. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Read well. Be steady. Keep your goal high and work hard without any excitement.          ― Swami Chinmayananda.

గ్రామగ్రామానికి వెళ్ళి మానవాళికి మంచి చేసి దానిని ప్రపంచానికి విస్తరించు. ఇతరుల ముక్తికై నరకానికి వెళ్ళటానికైనా వెనుకాడకు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Go from village to village, do good to humanity and to the world at large. Go to hell yourself to buy salvation for others.    ― Swami Vivekananda.

నీ జీవితంలోని ప్రతి క్షణాన్నీ వినియోగించుకో. పరమాత్ముని లీలలు తప్ప వేరొకటి మాట్లాడకు; (వాటిని) అధ్యయనం చేసి ఒంటరిగా ఉన్నపుడు వాటిగురించి ఆలోచించు. నీ అంతరంగాన్ని పరమానందస్థితిలో ఉంచుకో. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Make use of every moment of your life. Talk nothing but His Glories, study and reflect when alone. Fill yourself up with the Joy-State of the Higher Self.          ― Swami Chinmayananda.

మనలను (స్వతంత్రంగా) మన కాళ్ళపై నిలబడేటట్లుగా ఏదైతే తీర్చిదిద్దుతుందో అదే నిజమైన విద్యాభ్యాసము. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Real education is that which enables one to stand on one's own legs.    ― Swami Vivekananda.

ధ్యానము - అంతరంగాన నిజమైన సమతుల్యము మరియు బాహ్యాన సంపూర్తిగా నిష్క్రమణ కల ఒక స్థితి. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. MEDITATION - a state of utter balance within and total oblivion of the outer happenings.          ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ఒక విద్యావ్యవస్థ సామాన్య ప్రజలు తమ జీవితసమస్యలను ఆధిగమించటానికి సహాయపడకపోతే, బలమైన వ్యక్తిత్వాన్ని, భూతదయా భావనను, మరియు సింహము వంటి ధైర్యాన్ని అందించలేకపోతే - దానిని విద్య అనగలమా?  ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. The education which does not help the common mass of people to equip themselves for the struggle for life, which does not bring out strength of character, a spirit of philanthropy, and the courage of a lion - is it worth the name?    ― Swami Vivekananda.

నాలోని మంచితనాన్ని కాపాడుకోవటానికి ఉన్న ఏకైక మార్గం నీకు మంచి చేయటమే.  వేరే మార్గం లేదు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. I can secure my own good only by doing you good.  There is no other way, none whatsoever.    ― Swami Vivekananda.

ఎవరైతే పరిపూర్ణుడైన భగవంతుని సహాయంతో ముందుకు వెళ్ళగలరో వారికి నిశ్చయమైనది మరియు సంపూర్ణమైనది అయిన విజయము ప్రాప్తించినట్లుగా భావించాలి. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. He who is capable of turning himself up with the Total is the one who is marked out for sure success and complete victory in life.           ― Swami Chinmayananda.

సత్పురుషులు కేవలం ఇతరులకోసమే జీవిస్తారు.  నిజమైన జ్ఞాని తన జీవితాన్ని ఇతరులకై త్యాగం చేయాలి. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. The good lives for others alone.  The wise man should sacrifice himself for others.   ― Swami Vivekananda.

మనలో కొలువున్న ఆత్మ ఒక దీర్ఘ ప్రయాణాన్ని చేపట్టింది. ఆ ప్రయాణంలో అది తాత్కాలికంగా వివిధరూపాలు ధరిస్తూ స్థిరమైన అనుభవాలను ప్రోగుచేసుకొంటూ ఉంటుంది. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. The embodied soul in everyone is set on a great pilgrimage in which it comes to identify itself with varied forms temporarily to gain fixed specimens of experiences.          ― Swami Chinmayananda.

నా దృష్టిలో, విద్య యొక్క లక్ష్యము ఏకాగ్రతను సాధించటం; విషయ సేకరణ కాదు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. To me, the very essence of education is the concentration of mind, not the collecting of facts.   ― Swami Vivekananda.

ఆధ్యాత్మికవృద్ధి ఆకస్మికంగా కలుగదు.  ఆధ్యాత్మిక జీవనంలో వృద్ధి నెమ్మదించటం ద్వారా కలిగే నిరాశకన్నా  పతనం వలన కలిగే బాధ మరియు దుఃఖాలు అధికం. సహనం కోల్పోకు. ఆపకుండా ప్రయత్నించు. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Spiritual growth is not sudden. A fall in spiritual life is more painful and tragic than the tragedy of slow growth. Do not be impatient. Steadily work on.          ― Swami Chinmayananda.

గతమెంతో గొప్పది, నిస్సందేహంగా. కానీ భవిష్యత్తు మరింత తేజోవంతంగా ఉండబోతున్నదని నా ప్రగాఢ విశ్వాసం. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. The past was great no doubt, but I sincerely believe that the future will be more glorious still.   ― Swami Vivekananda.

ఆసక్తితో పనిచేయి కానీ మనసులో భగవంతుని ఉంచుకో.  అతను పనిని ఎలా నిర్వహించి ముగిస్తాడో గమనించు. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Work diligently - but keep your heart tied to Him. Watch how He executes - fulfils!         ― Swami Chinmayananda.

నేను నిశ్చయంగా ఇది నమ్ముతాను - ఒకరు దేనికైతే నిజంగా అర్హులో దానిని వారికి అందకుండా  ప్రపంచంలోని ఏ శక్తి కూడా ఆపలేదు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద.  I, for one, thoroughly believe that no power in the universe can withhold from anyone anything he really deserves.   ― Swami Vivekananda.

మంచిగా ఉండు, మంచిపనులే చేయి, సదా దయతో శుద్ధుడవై ఉండు. కోపము వద్దు, ద్వేషము వద్దు, గర్వము వద్దు. అణుకువత్వం మరియు విధేయతలతో ఉండు, సుఖాసుఖాలను సమంగా చూడు, శాంతిస్వరూపుడవై ఉండు, అమితమైన శక్తి కలిగి దయతో మరియు వినయతతో ఉండు.  దసరాసూచించే (ఈ) మార్గాన జీవించు. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Be good, do good, be kind and pure. No anger, no hatred, no pride. Meek and modest, level in both joy and sorrow, embodiment of Peace, of immense power yet kind and humble, live thy Life of Dassera!         ― Swami Chinmayananda.

మనమందరం మనశక్తిని అనవసరమైన చిరాకు మరియు కోపాలతో వ్యర్థంచేయకుండా ప్రశాంతంగా మరియు గౌరవప్రదంగా పనిచేద్దాం. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Let us calmly and in a manly fashion go to work, instead of dissipating our energy in unnecessary frettings and fumings.   ― Swami Vivekananda.

శాస్త్రాల అధ్యయనం ద్వారా, భగవంతునిపై భక్తి ద్వారా, అంబకు విధేయుడుగా ఉండటము ద్వారా ఎప్పుడైతే మనసులోని ఆలోచనా తరంగాలు తమంతట తాముగా నెమ్మదిస్తాయో అప్పుడు భక్తుడు అనంతమైన శాంతిని అనుభవిస్తాడు. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Through a study of the scriptures, through devotion to the Lord, through reverence to Mother Divine, when the mind's agitations calm themselves, the devotee must experience boundless Peace.         ― Swami Chinmayananda.

 (కాబట్టీ) ఈ రెండు సందర్భాలలోనూ (పరిపూర్ణత మరియు దైవత్వము) అడ్ధంకులను తొలగించటమే ఉపాధ్యాయుల ఏకైక కర్తవ్యము. (తొలగించిన తరువాత) పక్కకు తప్పుకో.  కేవలం అడ్డంకులు తొలగించటమే మన పని.  మిగిలినది భగవంతుడు చూసుకొంటాడు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద.  (Therefore) the only duty of the teacher in both cases (perfection and divinity) is to remove all obstructions from the way. Hands off! as I always say, and everything will be right. That is, our duty is to clear the way. The Lord does the rest. ― Swami Vivekananda.

కేవలం అంబ సూచనలను మాత్రం తెలివితో గుర్తించటం, వీలైనంతలో వాటిపై విధేయతతో జీవించటం, వాటిని ప్రేమతో ఆచరించటం - ఇది తెలివైనజీవుల ఏకైక కర్తవ్యం. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. To recognize intelligently, and live as far as possible in obedience to, and love for, the Will of Mother Divine alone, is the only duty of the intelligent creatures.          ― Swami Chinmayananda.

మతమంటే మనలో సహజంగానే ఉన్న దైవత్వాన్ని వెలికితీయగలిగినది. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Religion is the manifestation of the Divinity already in man.  ― Swami Vivekananda.

వేదాంతసారమైన అమ్మ పరమపవిత్రురాలు.  సూక్ష్మాలలోకెల్లా సూక్ష్మమైన అమ్మలో దోషాన్ని చూపుటకు మనపరిధిలో ఉన్నవి ఏవి ప్రయోగించినా అవి నిష్ప్రయోజనాలే. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. As the supreme spiritual Essence, She is Immaculate. Being subtler than the subtlest, the Supreme is not tainted by anything that is apparently seen, projected upon It.          ― Swami Chinmayananda.

విద్య అంటే మనలో సహజంగానే ఉన్న పూర్ణత్వాన్ని వెలికితీయటం. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man.  ― Swami Vivekananda.

అమ్మా, నీ చిత్రం పరబ్రహ్మయొక్క రూపాన్ని వ్యక్తీకరిస్తుంది.  కనుకనే నీ చిత్రం అందరి పనులకూ తగిన ప్రతిఫలాన్ని అందిస్తుంది. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Mother Divine, Thou art the very embodiment of the Supreme Brahman, and so Thou art the sole distributor of fruits of actions to all.         ― Swami Chinmayananda.

నీవు స్వచ్చంగాఉన్నంతవరకూ మరియు నీ విలువలకు బద్ధుడైనంతవరకూ నీకెన్నడూ అపజయము కలుగదు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. So long as you are pure, and true to your principles, you will never fail.  ― Swami Vivekananda.

ఓ అంబా! మేము విలువలతో జీవించలేనంతకాలము,  మరియు మా మేధస్సుకన్నా గొప్పదైన శక్తిని గుర్తించలేనంతకాలము నీ తేజస్సు నుంచీ వేరుగా ఉన్నట్లే. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Unless we live the values and come to intuitively experience the factor behind even our intellect, we are still far removed from the theme that is Thy Glory, O Mother!         ― Swami Chinmayananda.

విదేశీయుల సహాయం పై ఆధారపడవలసిన పనిలేదు. దేశాలు, ఇతర వ్యక్తులవలే, తమకు తామే సహాయం చేసుకోవాలి.  ఇదే నిజమైన దేశభక్తి. ఏదైన దేశం అలా సహాయం చేసుకోలేకపోతే, దాని(అభివృద్ధి)కి సమయమింకా రాలేదని అర్థం.  అది మరింత వేచిచూడాలి. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. You must not depend on any foreign help . Nations, like individuals, must help themselves.  This is real patriotism.  If a nation can not do that, its time has not yet come.  It must wait. ― Swami Vivekananda.

అంబలోని దయ మరియు సౌందర్యము, పవిత్రత మరియు శుద్ధతలను కోరుకొందాం. మరియు మన హృదయాలను తన హృదయంవలే స్వచ్ఛంగా చేసుకోవటానికి ఆమె సహాయాన్ని అర్థిద్దాం. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. We invoke the grace and beauty, serenity and purity of Mother and pray for Her help divine, to render our hearts as pure as Herself.         ― Swami Chinmayananda.

జీవితం వస్తుంది పోతుంది - సంపద, కీర్తి, సంతోషము ఇవన్నీ కేవలం కొద్దిరోజులకే.  ఒక పురుగువలే (అనామికంగా) మరణించటం కన్నా క్షేత్రంలో సత్యాన్ని ప్రచారంచేస్తూ నీ విధినిర్వహణలో మరణించటమే మేలు. ముందుకు నడు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. The life comes and goes - wealth, fame, enjoyments are only of a few days.  It is better far better to die on the field of duty, preaching the truth, than to die like a world worm. Advance. ― Swami Vivekananda.

"ఓ అంబా! సంపూర్ణమైన భక్తి మరియు నీ పాదపద్మాలందు శరణాగతి లేకుండా ఏ జీవి అయినా తన బలహీనతలు మరియు తీవ్రమైన లోపాలనుండీ ఎలా తప్పించుకోగలడు?" ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. "O Mother! Without total devotion and surrender unto Thy lotus-Feet, how can any mortal ever escape all his weaknesses and dire imperfections?"               ― Swami Chinmayananda.

చివరి శ్వాస వరకూ పనిచేయి  ―  నేను నీ తోడుంటాను.  నేను లేనినాడు నా ఆత్మ నీతో కలిసి పనిచేస్తుంది. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Work onto death  ―  I am with you, and when I am gone, my spirit will work with you. ― Swami Vivekananda.

సాధకుడు దైవికసామ్రాజ్యమైన తన అంతరంగంలోని ఆనందము మరియు విజయమనే సంపదలను కొల్లగొడుతున్న అంతఃశత్రువులను గెలవటానికి ప్రయత్నించాలి. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. A seeker must try to win over his inner enemies who plunder his wealth of joy and success in the Kingdom of Heaven within.                ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ఇతరుల మంచిగురించి కొద్దిగా ఆలోచించినా సరే అది క్రమంగా మనలను సింహము వలే బలోపేతము చేస్తుంది. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Even thinking the least good of others gradually instills into the heart, the strength of a lion. ― Swami Vivekananda.

శక్తి - మనలోని జ్యోతి. ఆమె మూర్తీభవించిన ధర్మము, ప్రేమ మరియు ఆనందము.  ఎప్పుడైతే అంబ కటాక్షము మనకు లభిస్తుందో అప్పుడు మనము అజ్ఞానమనే నిద్రనుండీ మేలుకొని మన నిజస్వరూపమైన పరమానందాన్ని అందుకోగలము.  ఆ స్థితి అంబ స్వయంరూపమే తప్ప వేరొకటి కాదు. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Shakti - The Light Within She is the embodiment of Dharma, Prema and Ananda. When the Mother Divine's grace enters our lives, we are awakened from the sleep to ignorance to the Reality of our true nature that is Supreme Bliss, that is no different from Her own!                ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ఇతరులకై చేసే పని ఎంత చిన్నదైనా సరే అంతర్గత శక్తిని ప్రేరేపిస్తుంది. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Even the least work done for others awakens the power within ― Swami Vivekananda.

లక్ష్యం పై ఏకాగ్రత మరియు సత్యమనే హోమగుండంలో సమస్తం అర్పించగల సంసిద్ధత - ఇవే కైవల్యాన్నందిన సాధకులలో కనిపించిన లక్షణాలు. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Single-pointedness of purpose and a ready willingness to sacrifice everything at the Altar of Truth is the true spirit found in all successful seekers.               ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ఇది నేను గమనించాను. "ఎవరైతే సదా అతిజాగ్రత్తగా ఉంటారో వారు ప్రతి అడుగులోనూ ప్రమాదంలో పడతారు; ఎవరైతే గౌరవం తగ్గిపోతుందని ఆందోళన చెందుతారో వారికి కేవలం ధిక్కారం మాత్రమే లభిస్తుంది; ఎన్నడూ నష్టాల గురించి దిగులుచెందేవానికి వచ్చేవి నష్టాలే." ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. This I have seen in life - he who is overcautious about himself falls into dangers at every step; he who is afraid of losing honour and respect gets only disgrace; he who is always afraid of loss always loses. ― Swami Vivekananda.

పరబ్రహ్మరూపమునకు శబ్దరూపమే "ప్రణవనాదం". అది ఒక అత్యున్నతమైన యథార్థం. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. "Pranava" is the sound symbol of Brahman, the Supreme Reality.              ― Swami Chinmayananda.

... శాంతి అనే తీరం చేరటానికి ఎన్నో గాలివానలు, మరియు ఉప్పెనలు తట్టుకోవాలి.  మనిషి ఎంత గొప్పవాడవ్వాలంటే అంత కఠినమైన పరీక్షలను ఎదుర్కోవలసి ఉంటుంది. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. ... how much of tempests and waves one has to weather, before one reaches the haven of Peace!  The greater a man has become, the fiercer ordeal he has had to pass through. ― Swami Vivekananda.

మన ఈ జీవితాన్ని మన హృదయంలో సదా కొలువుండే పరమాత్ముని మనస్ఫూర్తిగా కీర్తించే ఒక భక్తిగీతముగా మార్చుకొందాము. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Let our very life be a devotional song, whole-heartedly sung in praise of Him who is ever in our heart.              ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ప్రజలు నిన్ను కీర్తించనీ లేక నిందించనీ.  అదృష్టము నీవైపు చిరునవ్వులు చిందించనీ లేక ముఖం చాటెయ్యనీ. నీ శరీరం నేడే పడిపోనీ లేక యుగకాలము తరువాత. (ఏది జరిగినా) నీ సత్యమార్గమునుండీ తొలగిపోకు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Let people praise you or blame you, let fortune smile or frown upon you, let your body fall today or after a Yuga, see that you do not deviate from the path of Truth. ― Swami Vivekananda.

ఒక సాధకునిలో తనకైతాను ఏర్పరచుకొన్న బానిసత్వాన్ని వ్యతిరేకించే అహంకారములో వేదాంతసాధన ఉంటుంది. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Vedanta Sadhana consists in the ego in each seeker revolting against its own thraldom.              ― Swami Chinmayananda.
