Daily Mantra

ఎవరైతే ఇతరులకోసం జీవిస్తారో కేవలం వారు మాత్రమే జీవిస్తున్నట్లు. మిగిలినవారందరూ మృతులే. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. They alone live who live for others, the rest are more dead than alive. ― Swami Vivekananda.

తన లాభాలు, నష్టాలు, విజయాలు, పరాజయాలు, క్లుప్తంగా చెప్పాలంటే తన సర్వస్వం పరమాత్మకు సమర్పించిన భక్తునకు విచారమనేది ఉండదు. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. For the bhakta who has already surrendered himself and all his profits, losses, successes, failures — in short, everything — unto Him, anxiety cannot be there.         ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ధైర్యంగా ముందుకు నడు. విజయాన్ని ఒక్కరోజులోనో లేక ఒక్క సంవత్సరంలోనో ఆశించకు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Go on bravely. Do not expect success in a day or a year.  ― Swami Vivekananda.

కృష్ణభావనతో ఉన్నపుడు అతనిని చేరుకోవాలనే కోరిక కూడా తొలగిపోతుంది.  కృష్ణమయం, చిన్మయములను అలవరచుకో. అతనిలో చేరినపుడు నీవే అతను.  నీకు మరో ఉనికి ఉండదు. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. While in Krishna, even the 'aasha' (desire) to meet Him renounce! Be KRISHNAMAYAM: CHIT-MAYAM: there you experience Him. నీవు నిరంతర కార్యాచరణలో ఉన్నపుడు దేనినైనా సరే సాధించటం సులభం.  కానీ సోమరితనం ఆవహించిన నాడు నీకు ఏదీ సులభం కాదు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Everything is easy when you are busy. But nothing is easy when you are lazy.  ― Swami Vivekananda.

నామస్మరణ ద్వారా మనసు శుద్ధమవుతుందని వేదాంతము నిర్ధారించింది. మరియు  శ్రీకృష్ణులవారి ఉపదేశానుసారం "భగవంతుని పై భక్తి కల పరిశుద్ధమైన మనసు మోక్షమును పొందగలదు."  ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. It is the Vedantic declaration that through Nama Smarana, the mind gets purified - and Lord Krishna assures us that a purified mind devoted to the Lord "shall attain the Supreme Goal."        ― Swami Chinmayananda.

నీకు మారటం ఇష్టంలేనట్లయితే ఆధ్యాత్మికమార్గాన్ని ఎన్నుకోకు. ఎప్పుడైతే అంతరంగాన ఉన్న నీ ఆత్మను చూడగలవో, ఎప్పుడైతే నీ జీవితంలో జరిగే బాధలను (నీవి కానట్లుగా) వేరుగా చూడగలవో అప్పుడు మార్పు మొదలవుతుంది. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. If you are not willing to change, do not enter the path of spirituality. When you allow yourself to see yourself and think about the tragic life you are leading, then changes begin to happen.        ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ఒక వ్యక్తి లేక దేశము (ఆత్మ)విశ్వాసాన్ని కోల్పోయినపుడు వచ్చేది పతనమే. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. As soon as a man or a nation loses faith, death comes. ― Swami Vivekananda.

అత్యంత ప్రతికూల పరిస్థితులలో కూడా చలించక ప్రశాంతంగా ఆలోచించగల జీవనవిధానామే నీకు నీవు ఇచ్చుకోగల అత్యంతవిలువైన బహుమతి. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. There can be no greater gift to yourself than a life wherein your mind is quiet and silent, even in the face of imminent calamity.        ― Swami Chinmayananda.

నీవు ఏదైనా సాధించగలవు.  నీలో ఉన్న అనంతమైన శక్తిని వినియోగించుకోవటానికి తగిన శ్రద్ధచూపని నాడు మాత్రమే నీవు విఫలమవుతావు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. You can do anything.  You fail only when you do not strive sufficiently to manifest infinite power. ― Swami Vivekananda.

ఎప్పుడైతే భక్తిలోని ప్రేమభావన వేదాంతాము బోధించే పరిపూర్ణమైన అద్వైతభావముతో సదా కలిసిపోతుందో, అప్పుడు స్వార్థరహితసేవ అనే సాధనను స్వంతం చేసుకోగలము. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. When the love element of Bhakti gets mixed well with the Non-dual, Eternal Perfection-idea of Vedanta, we have the perfect technique of selfless seva.      ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ప్రపంచచరిత్ర అంటే తమను తాము విశ్వసించిన కొద్దిమంది చరిత్రే. ఆ నమ్మకమే లోనదాగున్న దైవత్వాన్ని బహిర్గతం చేస్తుంది. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. The history of the world is the history of a few men who had faith in themselves.  That faith calls out the divinity within. ― Swami Vivekananda.

ఎవరి ఆలోచనలైతే విశ్వవ్యాప్తమైన (భగవంతుని) ఆలోచనలతో ఏకీకృతమవుతాయో వారే ఆ కాలానికి మరియు తరువాత వచ్చే అన్ని కాలాలకు శ్రీకృష్ణులు. ― స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Anyone who successfully comes to live in unison with the cosmic mind, he is the Krishna of that age and forever, thereafter.         ― Swami Chinmayananda.

తన ఆలొచనలను నియంత్రించుకోగల వ్యక్తి అందరి ఆలోచనలను కూడా నిశ్చయంగా నియంత్రించగలడు. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. The man who has control over his own mind assuredly will have control over every other mind. ― Swami Vivekananda.

మనసును మనము నియంత్రించము; అదే మనలను నియంత్రిస్తుంది. నిజానికి మనకు ఏమాత్రం సంబంధము లేనివే మన మనసనును వాటివైపుకు లాక్కొని వాటి నియంత్రణలో వాటి ఇచ్చానుసారము ఉంచుకొంటాయి. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. We do not control the mind; it controls us. Something outside of ourselves, as it were, draws the mind into it and holds it as long as it chooses.   ― Swami Vivekananda.

భగవతుని సన్నిధినిచేరి నీ జీవితాన్ని  ఒక ఉత్సవంలా చేసుకో. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Make your life a celebration of his Presence.        ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ప్రతిఒక్క పని మూడు స్థితులను దాటుకొని వెళ్ళాలి - అవమానము, వ్యతిరేకత, మరియు అంగీకారము. దూరదృష్టితో ఆలోచించే ప్రతి వ్యక్తికి (తొలుత) నిరాదరణే లభిస్తుంది. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. Each work has to pass through these stages - ridicule, opposition, and then acceptance.  Each man who thinks ahead of his time is sure to be misunderstood.   ― Swami Vivekananda.

To live as the Self and to meet others in life, standing upon this solid foundation of the true nature of the Self, is the culmination of knowledge.        ― Swami Chinmayananda.

మన భౌతిక సుఖాలకోసం వస్తువులను చేర్చుకుంటూ పోవచ్చుగాక, కానీ మనము సంపాదించినది మాత్రమే నిజానికి మనదని చెప్పుకోగలము. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. We may go on accumulating things for our physical enjoyment, but only what we earn is really ours. ― Swami Vivekananda.

ఆధ్యాత్మిక జీవనాన్ని సమాజంలో ఆచరించి చూపగల ఒక సాధనము హిందూ మతము. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. The Hindu Religion is a technique by which spiritual culture can be maintained and worked out in the community.       ― Swami Chinmayananda.

మనము సంపాదించినది తప్ప మరేదీ మనకు లభించదు (నిలవదు). ఇది ప్రకృతి నియమము. ― స్వామి వివేకానంద. No one can get anything unless he earns it.  This is an eternal law. ― Swami Vivekananda.

మనసు నారాయణుని వైపే నిరంతరంగా చూస్తుంటే, నారాయణుని అందుకోవాలనే తపన పెరుగుతుంది.  నారాయణుని అందుకోవాలనే ఆ తపనే సత్యాన్వేషణలో నిన్ను పరుగులెట్టించగలదు. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. If the mind is continuously going towards Narayana, desire for Narayana will increase. Desire for Narayana is the burning aspiration for the Reality.      ― Swami Chinmayananda.

నీకు నీవు చెప్పుకో "నేను అనుభవిస్తున్న కష్టాలకు నేను చేసిన పనులే కారణము. కాబట్టీ వాటిని సరిదిద్దుకోవలసినది కూడా నేనే". ― స్వామి వివేకానంద.  Say, "This misery that I am suffering is of my own doing, and that very thing proves that it will have to be undone by me alone" ― Swami Vivekananda.

Breaks in spiritual practices are not advisable; not only they destroy the effects of the past practices; but often they can cause some positive bad effects.     ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ధనము లేనంతమాత్రాన మనిషి పేదవాడు కాడు. ఒక స్వప్నము, జీవితధ్యేయము లేకపోవటమే నిజమైన పేదరికం. - స్వామి వివేకానంద. A man is not poor without a rupee. But man is really poor without a dream and ambition.    ― Swami Vivekananda.

భారతదేశము ఎప్పటినుంచో విశ్వగురువుగా గుర్తింపుపొందింది.  ప్రపంచాన్ని ముందుకు నడిపిస్తూ మార్గదర్శనం చేయటానికి నేటితరం ముందుకు రావాలి. సమయం ఆసన్నమయ్యింది. చంపటాలు, విధ్వంసాలు, యుద్ధాలద్వారా కాదు; బాహ్యప్రపంచంలోని సమస్యలను అర్థంచేసుకొని ఎలా వాటిని ఎదర్కోవాలో నేర్చుకోవటంద్వారా. మన శాస్త్రాలను చదివి వాటిని నిత్యజీవితంలో ఉపయోగించటం చాలా అవసరం. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. India has always been the Guru of the world.  This generation has been called upon to lead and guide the world. The time has come, not in killing, not in destroying, not in warfare, but in learning and understanding how to face the problems of the outer world. It is absolutely necessary to study the scriptures and learn to practice the teachings in everyday lives.     ― Swami Chinmayananda.

స్వీయ సాధన ద్వారా సాధకుని మనసు శుద్ధమైనపుడు దైవకృప వరదలా వెల్లువెత్తి అతని జీవితాన్ని ఆనందపు వెలుగులతో నింపేస్తుంది. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Through self-effort when the mind of the seeker is purified, the Grace-Divine shall rush in to flood his life with light and joy.     ― Swami Chinmayananda.

శరీరము మరియు ఇంద్రియాల కోరికలు తీర్చటానికై నిరంతరము తపించటమే మనసు స్వభావము. ఇలా అన్నివేళలా జరుగుతూనే ఉంటుంది. - స్వామి వివేకానంద. And such is our mind; it is continually hankering for ways and means to satisfy the hunger of the stomach and sex. All the time this is going on.    ― Swami Vivekananda.

అంతిమ ఆధ్యాత్మిక అనుభవము విశేషమైనది, స్వయంగా అనుభవించవలసినది, నేరుగా పొందగలిగినది, మరియు సంపూర్ణమైనది.  అదే మనయొక్క నిజస్వరూపము. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. The final spiritual experience is subjective, personal, direct and full, always as one's own "Real Nature."     ― Swami Chinmayananda.

If you know that you are positively other than your body, you have then none to fight with or struggle against; you are dead to all ideas of selfishness.     ― Swami Vivekananda.

బాహ్యప్రపంచమంతా సర్వాంతర్యామి అయిన శ్రీమన్నారాయణుని స్వరూపమే కానీ వేరొకటికాదు. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. The outer world is but an expression of the One Self which is in all - Sri Narayana.     ― Swami Chinmayananda.

అనంతమైన ఓర్పును కలిగి ఉండు. విజయం నీదే! - స్వామి వివేకానంద. Have an infinite patience and success is yours.      ― Swami Vivekananda.

నీవు పతనము చెందిన మార్గాన్ని గుర్తించి తిరిగి (నీవు కోల్పోయిన) అత్యున్నత శాంతిని, ప్రశాంతతను సాధించు. అవే మానవుని నిజమైన ఆధ్యాత్మికస్థితికి చిహ్నాలు.  అలా నీ అహంకారాన్ని వదిలి ప్రశాంతమైన నీ నిజస్థితిని అందుకో. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Retrace the path of fall and rise again to attain the Supreme Peace and Quietude, which is the true spiritual status of man. Thus fold back the ego into the state of the Peaceful Self.     ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ఇప్పటికిప్పుడు (ఈ జన్మలో) పరిపూర్ణత సాధించడం అసాధ్యమైతే, మరొక జీవితంలో మనము పరిపూర్ణత సాధించగలమనే నమ్మకం లేనట్లే. - స్వామి వివేకానంద. If it is impossible to attain perfection here and now, there is no proof that we can attain perfection in any other life.       ― Swami Vivekananda.

స్థిరమైన ఏకాగ్రత సాధకులందరి తొలి ప్రయత్నం కావాలి.  ముఖ్యంగా జ్ఞానమార్గాన ఉన్న సాధకులకు. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Steady concentration must be the initial attempt of all seekers, especially those on the path of knowledge.     ― Swami Chinmayananda.

మనసులో తపన బలంగా ఉంటే అన్నిటినీ సాధించవచ్చు. పర్వతాలను కూడా పరమాణువుల స్థాయికి పిండి చేయవచ్చు. - స్వామి వివేకానంద. If the mind is intensely eager, everything can be accomplished— mountains can be crumbled into atoms.        ― Swami Vivekananda.

పరస్పర సహకారంతో, దృఢమైన బంధంతో హిందూజీవితవిధానం యొక్క గొప్పతనంపై నమ్మకముకలిగి, (శాస్త్రాలు, పురాణాలు వంటి) పవిత్రమైన గ్రంథాలను మరియు ఆలయాలను ప్రజలలోనికి మరియు కార్యాలయాలలోనికి తీసుకొనివెళ్ళగలిగిన అంకితభావము కల వ్యక్తులతో చిన్మయమిషన్ బలంగా తయారవ్వాలి. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. ChinmayaMission must become a well-knit, powerfully-welded team of workers, convinced in themselves of the glory of the Hinduculture and dedicated to bringing it all out of the sacred books and from holy temples into the fields and offices.    ― Swami Chinmayananda.

మంచి ఫలితాలను కేవలం ప్రేమ మరియు సానుభూతి ద్వారా మాత్రమే సాధించగలము. - స్వామి వివేకానంద. Good results can be produced only through love, through sympathy.        ― Swami Vivekananda.

Be an instrument in His hands. Be a flute through which He can play His song. Let not the flute decide what should be the tune or the song.    ― Swami Chinmayananda.

ఇతరులలో మంచినంతటినీ గమనించు. వాటిని తెలుసుకొన్నతరువాత నీదైన పద్దతిలో వాటిని గ్రహించు.  (అంతేకానీ) ఇతరులలా మారిపోకు. - స్వామి వివేకానంద. Learn everything that is good from others, but bring it in, and in your own way absorb it; do not become others.        ― Swami Vivekananda.

అంతరంగంలో ప్రగతిని సాధించు.  నీ శక్తి మేర పెరుగు. ప్రగతి మరియు పెరుగుదలలను కేవలం ధ్యానములో  మరియు ధ్యానము ద్వారా మాత్రమే సాధించగలవు. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. Expand inwardly. Grow to your full stature. You can achieve growth and expansion only in and through meditation.    ― Swami Chinmayananda.

దైవికజీవితాన్ని గడపటానికి నీవు చేసే ప్రయత్నంలో నీ గురువు, దగ్గరున్నా లేక దూరంగా ఉన్నా, పతనము తరువాత ఉత్పన్నమయ్యే పరిస్థితులనుంచీ నిన్ను కాపాడుతాడు.  భగవంతుని చేరే నీ ప్రయత్నాన్ని కొనసాగించమంటూ ప్రోత్సహిస్తాడు.  అలాంటి మార్గదర్శకుడే నిజమైన సద్గురువు. — స్వామి చిన్మయానంద. In your attempt to LIVE the Divine Life, your Guru, be he far or near will each time save you from the after-effects of falls and encourage you to continue the sacred pilgrimage towards God-head.
