ఒకవైపు నవభారతం చెబుతోంది "పాశ్చాత్య ఆలోచనలు, వారి వేషభాషలు, వారి ఆహారాలు, వారి అలవాట్లు అనుకరించటం ద్వారా మాత్రమే మనము పాశ్చాత్యదేశాలంత బలంగా తయారవగలము".  మరొకవైపు ప్రాచీనభారతమంటోంది "మూర్ఖులారా! అనుకరణ ద్వారా ఇతరుల ఆలోచనలు మీవైపోవు.  మీకై మీరు సంపాదిస్తే తప్ప ఏదీ మీ స్వంతం కాదు."
