స్వామి వివేకానంద సూక్తులు - 10

నేను అనే భావన (అహంకారం) మధ్యమ స్థానంలో ఉంటుంది. ఆ గీతకు పైకి కాని క్రిందకు కానీ బుద్ధి (ఆలోచనలు) చేరినపుడు నేను అనే అహంకారము ఉండదు, కానీ బుద్ది పనిచేస్తుంది. మన ఆలోచనలు స్వార్థము అనే ఈ రేఖను దాటి వెళ్ళినపుడు దానిని (ఆ స్థితిని) సమాధి అంటారు.

The feeling of egoism is only on the middle plane. When the mind is above or below that line, there is no feeling of "I", and yet the mind works. When the mind goes beyond this line of self-consciousness, it is called Samâdhi or superconsciousness.
